Maybe it was just me but evey runner I saw on NRD was happy and friendly. I waved to, like, 25 people and actually got waves back (compared to the zero waves I receive when it's not NRD). Anyway, it was hot, humid and lightning but I had a blast. I mean, it wasn't anything out of the norm but since it was NRD, running 6 miles seemed so much cooler!
Fellow runners: how far did you go? Did you see more runners than normal?
I can't wait for National Running Day 2010 - I might even organize a run in DC!
